Corrupted genesis: synthetic emotions, broken code, human scars. Electro-infused metalcore with a cold digital pulse – the moment where the system first misbehaves.
Digital scars. Analog rage.
Glitch & Grief is an experimental music project at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, metal, and raw emotion. What started as a late-night experiment turned into a fully-formed band concept – with AI as instrument, not replacement.
What Glitch & Grief is
A female-fronted, AI-assisted metal project that treats riffs and algorithms with the same respect. Heavy music, honest storytelling, and a clear visual identity – built in the tension field between code and catharsis.
The sound blends modern metalcore, hard rock, emo-electro and glitchy industrial textures. Drop-tuned guitars and groove-driven drums share space with cinematic hooks and processed voices. Every track is either an opener – or a confession.
For fans of Halestorm, Spiritbox, Electric Callboy, Breaking Benjamin, Faith No More – and anyone who doesn’t care whether the emotion comes from a guitar, a synth, or a line of code.
How we create
Glitch & Grief lives in a hybrid workflow: classic songwriting meets generative tools like ChatGPT, Suno and Sora. Songs are built layer by layer – from rough emotional sketch to finished track and visual.
Writing & concept
- Song titles, worlds and character perspectives are drafted with GPT-based models.
- Lyrics go through multiple human revisions – tightening phrasing, rhythm and emotion.
- Each track is tied to a theme: a series, a moral dilemma, a glitch in someone’s story.
Sound & visuals
- Instrumentals and vocals are generated and fine-tuned in Suno, guided by detailed prompts.
- Videos and visuals are built in Sora: cinematic camera work, noir lighting, cyber-fractured worlds.
- Artwork, logos and layouts follow a consistent A-era palette: copper, deep reds, blue-gray, gold-rust.
It’s never “one click and done”. Each piece goes through many iterations: re-writing, re-prompting, re-mixing. The goal is simple: if the listener doesn’t feel anything, the tech doesn’t matter.
Albums & eras
Every Glitch & Grief release is built like a season of a series: a closed arc, a visual language, a clear emotional focus.
The first reboot: survival in a digital storm, rage against the system, hope in the cracks. Groove-heavy riffs and glitch fragments, screaming for a second chance.
No guilt. No gods. Just consequence. A darker, sharper record about power, obsession and the point where self-mythology collapses.
Female-fronted riff drive – Southern attitude, modern metalcore weight. Ten songs that treat every chorus like a verdict: either you prevail – or the paradox does.
What makes us different
Glitch & Grief doesn’t try to pretend that AI isn’t involved – but it also doesn’t hide behind automation. The project is built on a few simple rules:
No classic promo shots. Instead: visual narratives – fractured worlds, silhouettes, symbols and cinematic scenes that tell you more than four people staring into the camera.
Tools are named, workflows are explained. The point isn’t to fake a “real band”, but to explore how far a coherent AI-assisted project can go without losing its human core.
Every song must have a reason to exist – a line, a riff, a hook that would still matter without any tech. If it feels like algorithm bait, it doesn’t make the record.
